Jodie Howland, Loren Howland and Scott Howland (Diploma for Music Practitioners)
Jodie, Loren and Scott studied the RSL Level 2 Diploma for Music Practitioners (MAS Records Artist Development Programme). The band 'Done by Sunrise' has played live at the LG Arena forum with Girls Aloud, One Direction and Westlife and are regularly featured on BBC Introducing. They said, “MAS has helped us develop as a band and given us fantastic opportunities to progress within the music industry. Their knowledge, experience and contacts have been invaluable to helping us get where we are today.”
Luke Allen (Games Design)
Luke studied the Level 3 Extended Diploma in Games Design & Development and is now moving on to study a BA (Hons) in Games Art Design at De Montford University. Luke said “The course allowed me to experience many aspects of games design and development which was extremely useful in deciding which route to take at university. I really enjoyed my time here, the tutors are very encouraging and knowledgeable.”
Karen Lowry-Hall (Apprenticeship)
Karen Lowry-Hall won the West Midlands Regional Apprenticeship Champion Award in 2013. Karen, who started her career on a Business and Administration apprenticeship programme at Kidderminster College said “I left school with limited qualifications and until I was given the chance of an apprenticeship I thought I would never succeed. I’m now a training professional and have a real passion for apprenticeships.”
