Our Apprenticeships in Business and Administration are designed to meet the skill needs of employers by attracting new talent and/or helping to up skill your existing workforce. The Apprenticeship aim is to provide apprentices with the skills, knowledge and experience needed to undertake relevant business administration tasks. There are various optional units available for the apprentice to undertake to suit your business needs. Intermediate apprentices may work in roles such as administrators, office juniors, receptionists/medical receptionists, junior legal secretaries or junior medical secretaries.
Advanced apprentices may work in roles such as administration executives/officers, administration team leaders, personal assistants and secretaries, including legal or medical secretaries.

Intermediate (Level 2)
Advanced (Level 3)
An Intermediate Apprenticeship in Business Administration lasts 12 months.
An Advanced Apprenticeship in Business Administration lasts 18 months.
College attendance for approximately 25 weeks or until all exams, workbooks and functional skills are complete.
One to one meetings with an assessor in the workplace.
Functional skills if required.
An apprentice must be:
Employed for a minimum of 30 hours.
Paid at least the minimum apprentice wage, currently £3.70 per hour.
Allowed 20% of their contracted hours to be used for Off-the-job Training.
EMPLOYER INCENTIVE PAYMENT
If you employ a 16-18 year old you may be entitled to £1000 government incentive.
