This advanced qualification will give you the opportunity to master more complex accounting disciplines including financial processes, advanced bookkeeping, final accounts and ethical practices for accountants.

The units * will be assessed as individual units taken during the year and also within the units **.
Please be aware that the units ** are taken in one exam and will be on a specific date, details will be available prior to enrolment.
Exam ** is marked partially by computer and partially by a human taking 6 weeks to receive results. All other results are available within 24 hours
The course is suitable for the learner who has already completed AAT Level 2 Certificate in Bookkeeping, the Certificate in Accounting or A-Level Accounts.
The course could lead to a career in accounting with the option to extend studies to Level 4 Professional Diploma in Accounting, and further still to ACCA or CIMA or another equivalent accounting qualification.
AAT Level 3 Advanced Diploma in Accounting
Lessons will be for seven hours a week either on Wednesday and Thursday evenings (5.30-9pm) or Tuesdays (9.30-4.30pm).

Tuition fees of £1,600 are payable to the college. This amount can be paid either in full at the time of enrolment, by instalments or through the advanced learner loan. Full or partial funding for this course maybe applicable subject to eligibility. Please enquire at interview.
Exam fees are in the region of £241 (subject to confirmation from the AAT) payable at the same time as the tuition fees.
Initial AAT administration fee and AAT annual membership fee will be payable within three weeks of starting the course at an approximate total cost of £135. AAT student member’s subscription will be 12 months after initial enrolment at an approximate cost of £100.
Completion of the qualification could lead to employment in job roles such as: assistant accountant, accounts payable clerk/supervisor, audit trainee, credit controller, payroll administration/supervisor, practice bookkeeper, tax assistant
