Music Masterclasses welcome industry legends… 3rd January 2016

Our Music Performance courses at Level 1, 2, 3 and HND level, are highly popular, industry led courses, which offer learners the opportunity to develop the skillset and knowledge to work within the music industry.

Students study under industry specialist staff, who have many years of experience in writing, performing, recording and releasing music in a wide range of genres and who are still professionally active.

College students benefit from weekly Masterclasses organised by the Creative Industries team. There are a mix of sessions, some delivered by our staff to extend learning, with others being delivered by visiting guests from the industry. Guests over the last year have included:

• Divinity Roxx (MD, Bassist: Beyonce)
• Julie Slick (Bassist: Adrian Belew)
• Paul Stewart (The Feeling)
• Jonas Hellborg (bass legend)
• Adam Gammage (Drummer: Rebecca Fergusson)
• Mark Decloedt (Drummer: EMF)
• Davey Warsop (Engineer: Foo Fighters)
• Tom Clarke-Hill (Musician and actor Ferocious Beasts)
• Darryl C Anders (Bassist: Tower of Power, Zigaboo)
• Mad Flow (Human Beatbox and Freestyle rapper)
• Brian Tatler (Heavy Metal legend, Diamondhead, Metallica)
• Craig Blundell (Drummer)

Tutor, Andy Edwards said, “At the College, we have a wealth of tutors who have worked in the industry and we are able to use our connections to get such big names to visit the college.”
