Esports – Level 3

This course in Esports is a qualification that is designed to give you the skills and knowledge you need to work in the Esports industry. The course covers a wide range of topics, including the structure of Esports, the different types of Esports games, live streaming and casting, the business of Esports, and the health and wellbeing of Esports players.

    Work experience opportunities:

    Playing for our college Esports team is a great way to meet other people who share your passion for gaming, learn how to work as part of a team and communicate effectively and compete against players in the British Esports Students Championship.

    English and Maths:

    The qualification requires learners to develop their written and verbal communication skills. This is essential for Esports professionals, who need to be able to communicate effectively with their teammates, coaches, and audience. For example, learners may be required to write a blog post about a recent Esports event or to give a presentation on a topic related to Esports. It also requires learners to develop their problem-solving skills. This is essential Esport professionals, who need to be able to make quick decisions in high-pressure situations. For example, learners will be required to budget for an Esport enterprise or to analyse their statistics for a particular game.
